During this first month of the year, various companies hire more workers to meet the high customer demand. In that sense, it is an obligation for employers to incorporate them into their electronic payroll and, with this, provide them with a series of social benefits such as bonuses, Compensation for Time of Service (CTS), health insurance, vacations, among others.
This mechanism favors the formalization process of the workforce in our country and there is an application from the National Superintendence of Labor Supervision (Sunafil) to corroborate whether employers fulfilled their contractual responsibility. Sunafil 2024: how to check if I am on the payroll?
A total of 356,500 workers entered the payroll during 2023 and 52% of that total did so after entering the Verifica tu Chamba application. If you want to find out if you are hired under this private activity regime, take note of the following steps:
- Enter the Verify your Chamba web application or click THIS LINK.
- Write the digits of your National Identity Document, as well as the RUC of the company where you work.
- On the screen, you will find two red buttons. Just click enter.
- Complete three forms with your personal information, that of your employer and the date you started working.
- Enter the captcha code and click verify.
How are the results displayed in the Sunafil application?
- If you are on the payroll: The worker’s information and a box with the verification result will appear. Finally, the breakdown of the user’s work data will appear in a table.
- If you are not on the payroll: The result will show the worker’s data and a table indicating that there is no registration on the payroll by their employer. In this situation, the application will send an alert to the company’s Electronic Box so that it complies with this work obligation.
Sunafil: how to file a complaint?
- Go to the Sunafil website or click THIS LINK.
- Locate the ‘Procedures and services’ section and select ‘Report labor breaches by a private company’.
- Press the ‘Enter your virtual complaint’ button.
- Accept the general terms.
- Select the company’s labor regime. If it is private, you must choose ‘Legislative Decree 728’.
- Enter the employer’s data (RUC number and company name, as well as department, province and district of the workplace) and press ‘Validate’.
- Choose your type of identity document and enter your information. Click ‘Validate’.
- Enter your personal information (department, province, district, address and contact information) and employment information (date of entry, position, remuneration, day and schedule, if you currently work or if you receive payment slips.
- Also specify if you want to carry out the identity reservation survey.
- Enter the employer’s data (department, province, district, address and reference) and press ‘Next’.
- Add the matters of the complaint that are registered on the list (for example, forced labor) and clearly describe the reason for your complaint. You can write the subject you are looking for in the box.
- Attach the documents that support your complaint, including a copy of the contract and payment slip. Files must be in PDF format.
- The system will show you the record of your request and the route sheets to track on the Sunafil website.
