More than 600,000 beneficiaries of the Pensión 65 Program will collect from this Monday, February 19, the amount of S/250 given by the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion to adults over 65 years of age in conditions of extreme poverty. According to executive management resolution No. D000004-2024-MIDIS/P65-DE, the start date will be Monday, January 19 and will end on December 2, 2024.
This payment schedule has been designed to facilitate the geographical distribution of older adults and avoid inconveniences or delays. In this sense, it is established that the Program Operations Unit carries out the corresponding actions to guarantee the supervision and monitoring of its compliance. The Midis directorial resolution published in the Diario El Peruano was endorsed by the executive director of Pensión 65, Julio Mendigure and can be found on the program’s website and the legal regulations of said media outlet. For this year, the delivery of the economic subsidy of S/250 will begin on January 19 at the agency and on March 12, users will receive it through the value transport company (ETV) modality.
