Midis executed S/6,369 million for the social protection of vulnerable people

The Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) executed S/6,369 million to finance the interventions of social programs this 2023, in order to improve the quality of life of the population in situations of poverty, extreme poverty and vulnerability.

The amount executed is equivalent to 98.7% of the Modified Institutional Budget (PIM) 2023 (S/6,450.7 million). In this way, food services have been financed for public school students, food support for communal kitchens, food kits for vulnerable populations, care for early childhood development, among other actions aimed at the social protection of the most needy people. .

In the distribution of social programs, in percentage terms, the programs With you, Together, Pension 65 and COUNTRY They achieved 100% budget execution, aimed at granting a financial subsidy to people with severe disabilities and households, through the delivery of monetary incentives, access and timely use of health and education services are promoted; also to adults over 65 years of age and to the operation and maintenance of the dairy farms.

The Contigo program, which provides a non-contributory pension to people with severe disabilities in situations of poverty or extreme poverty, to contribute to the improvement of their quality of life, registers an execution of S/234.3 million, the total of its budget 2023.

The dairy farms and the Itinerant Social Action Platforms (PIAS) bring State services closer to the population in remote areas, In that sense, the PAIS program executed S/69.5 million, meeting the assigned budget.

Pensión 65 executed more than S/1,356 million

Through the granting of a financial subsidy to people over 65 years of age, the Pensión 65 program executed S/1,356.9 million, the total of the 2023 budget.

The Juntos program, which promotes access to schooling services without dropouts and maternal and child preventive health for pregnant women, girls, boys and/or adolescents from the poorest homes, has executed S/1,156.3 million, out of a budget of S/1,156.8 million.

Meanwhile, the programs Cuna Más, Foncodes and Qali WarmaIn percentage terms, they recorded an execution of 99.9%, 99.8% and 97%, respectively, aimed at child care, generation of productive projects and food care for students.

In this sense, in order to improve the child development of girls and boys under 36 months in localities in situations of poverty and extreme poverty, the program Crib More has executed S/516.3 million of a 2023 budget of S/516.9 million.

The program Foncodeswhose purpose is to provide training and generation of productive ventures, managed to execute S/421.5 million of an assigned budget of S/422.3 million.

The Qali Warma program, which purchases food for public school students throughout the school year, as well as for food care for common pots and people in vulnerable situations, reports a budget execution of S/2,509.8 million , from a budget of S/2,587.9 million.
