Artificial intelligence is becoming a topic of interest for the Government. The Ministry of Labor proposed several challenges, and one of them refers to this one. According to the head of this state portfolio, Ivonne Núñez, they will work on regulations.

According to Núñez, in artificial intelligence (AI) there is a modernization of the business system for labor relations, but the state also implements them. “What we want is that there is no brutal displacement of the workforce and employees in the public sector due to the introduction of artificial intelligence.”

Minister of Labour: We hope that in 60 days there will be a very significant part of young people who are already in full employment after the entry into force of the emergency law

The Minister notes that one of the first tasks that will be dealt with is work modalities, together with the National Council for Work and Wages (CNTS), after it was agreed that they will meet every 60 days next year.

“The second challenge we will face is the issue of artificial intelligence, which is the regulation we have to work on, we believe that in this way, not only the approach of this tripartite commission (CNTS) will always be at the level of national and international reality, which implies the dynamics of working relations, market dynamics and, above all, compliance with standards. Every 60 days will give us access to the entire national and international context, therefore one of the first tasks we will work on is work modalities”, he points out.
