With the beginning of 2024, all eyes turn to the continuity of bonds in Peru. Law 31912, enacted in October, approved critical subsidies that seek to address economic challenges and respond to emergency situations.

However, not all of them will continue to be given next year, the Artisanal Fisherman’s Bonus and the Emergency Leasing Bonus will remain. We detail how they work and what the requirements are to access.

Artisanal Fisherman Bonus of S/700

Emergency Decree No. 038-2023 gave the green light for the delivery of the second Artisanal Fisherman Bonusa financial assistance of S/700 destined for more than 47,500 artisanal fishermen in the country through the National Fisheries Development Fund (Fondepes).

Distribution will take place until February 28 through the National bank, to those who meet the following requirements:

  • Formally dedicate yourself to artisanal fishing activity, in accordance with the Regulations of the General Fisheries Law, approved by Supreme Decree No. 012-2001-PE.
  • It must be part of the registry of beneficiaries of artisanal fishermen.
  • Not receive benefits from other social programs.

Lease Bond for emergencies

In a preventive effort, the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) maintains the Emergency Leasing Bonus (BAE) of S/500 active. This subsidy, designed for families in areas at risk due to the El Niño phenomenon, will be delivered monthly for a maximum of two years.

The main objective is to provide victims with the ability to rent new housing. We detail the documents that you must present.

  • The application for granting the Housing Rental Bonus for Emergencies (BAE).
  • Affidavit indicating that you do not have a home other than the collapsed or uninhabitable one located in the department of origin (Lima).
  • The housing rental contract signed with the landlord must have signatures legalized before the justice of the peace or notary public.
