In order to reduce the economic effects caused by the El Niño Phenomenon and unusual tides, the distribution of the Artisanal Fisherman Bonus. This benefit, driven by Ministry of Production (Produce) and approved through Ministerial Resolution No. 00424-2023-PRODUCE, amounts to the amount of S/700.
According to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP), the hardest hit item in 2023 has been fishing. That is why the Executive allocated a total budget of S/33,294,100 that will benefit 47,500 artisanal fishermen on board and not on boardduly accredited at the national level.

Artisanal fishermen can verify if they are beneficiaries through the link https://bonopescadorartesanal.produce.gob.pe/. On the page you must enter your DNI number and click on “consult” to find out the result.
Bonus 700 Requirements
The requirements to access the bonus, as established in Ministerial Resolution No. 00424-2023-Produce, published in the official newspaper El Peruano, are subject to prior compliance with the conditions specified in Emergency Decree No. 038-2023. In accordance with article 3 of this regulation, the National Fisheries Development Fund (Fondepes) is authorized to grant subsidies of S/700, as long as the artisanal fisher meets the following requirements:
- Formally exercise the activity of artisanal fisherman in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations of the General Fisheries Law, approved by Supreme Decree No. 012-2001.
- Be registered in the registry of beneficiaries of artisanal fishermen, as established in article 4 of Emergency Decree No. 038-2023.
- Not receiving benefits from other social programs.
Where is the 700 Bonus collected?
The more than 47,500 artisanal fishermen who have benefited from this subsidy will be able to go to the Banco de la Nación agencies and make the payment effective by simply presenting their current ID.
Until when can the 700 Bonus be collected?
The collection of this financial subsidy began this December 21, 2023 and can be made until February 28, 2024.
