More than 60% of companies will grant the non-working day benefit on next December 26, according to a Mercer Marsh report that included 39 companies in the sector. According to the study, the objective is to promote “harmony between work and life” for this Christmas.

On the other hand, it stands out that 69% of employers have delivered baskets to collaborators, with investments between S/100 and S/300 per employee. In addition, turkeys have been delivered in 36% of cases, with financing of between S/50 and S/100 per person.

Regarding the delivery of gifts, an increase from 18% to 26% has been observed, with disbursements of between S/50 and S/100. In addition, the distribution of Christmas gifts to employees’ children has increasedgoing from 44% to 49%, with amounts of S/50 and S/200.

What has been the method of delivering gifts to workers?

50% of the baskets for collaborators were physically delivered, while the other 50% was delivered through vouchers. In the case of the turkeys, the transaction was 100% through vouchers.

Gifts to employees were distributed mainly physically (80%), and 20% through coupons. Regarding gifts for children, a preference for physical delivery remained (79%), with 21% using vouchers.
