In an effort to facilitate access to housing for thousands of Peruvian families, the State offers an important economic subsidy through the Techo Propio Program, which includes a Family Housing Bonus (BFH) of up to S/43,000, intended for those who dream with buying your own home. This initiative represents a significant boost for those families seeking to establish a stable and safe home.
This bonus has captured the interest of thousands of people throughout the country. With specific requirements and a clear process, the program seeks to reach a broad spectrum of citizens, promoting equal opportunities in access to housing.
What is the family housing bonus?
The Family Housing Bonus is a non-refundable subsidy provided by the Peruvian State, designed to support families in acquiring decent housing. This bonus is part of the Techo Propio Program, which offers different amounts, depending on the family’s needs: S/43,000 to purchase a home, S/29,700 to build one and S/11,385 to improve an existing one.
What requirements must I meet to obtain this bonus and buy my own home?
To be eligible for the BFH and thus be able to purchase their own home, applicants must meet certain requirements. These include limits on family income, the need to form a family group, and not own another home or land nationwide. Furthermore, they must not have received previous housing support from the State. In short, these are the four conditions that the State requires to deliver the bonus:
- Monthly family income must not exceed the value of S/3,141.
- None of the members of the family group must have received housing support from the State, be it Enace, Fonavi, Banco de Materiales, or the same Mivivienda Fund program, Techo Propio.
- They must not have any property or land in their name.
- Have family responsibilities (grandparents, parents, children, etc.).
