Dollarcity arrives in Gamarra: in which gallery is it located and what new offices have been inaugurated?

Dollarcity is a store that has gained great popularity for its low prices and the variety of products it offers; for example, beauty items, stationery, candy, kitchen utensils, among others. For this reason, it is increasingly seeking to expand in different districts and its latest development is the store that has opened in Gamarra.

However, it is not the only one because nine more stores have been opened, bringing the total to 49 locations in the country. Below, we show you where they are, especially the one that has just opened in the commercial emporium of La Victoria.

The chain, founded in 2009 by Salvadoran Marco Andrés Baldocchi Kriete, opened a new branch in the Gamarra shopping emporium and is located in the GAMA Shopping Center (Jr. Gamarra 1215, La Victoria).

Dollarcity’s expansion

Dollarcity It began to expand internationally when in 2019 it sold 50.1% of its shares to Dollarama. In this way, in 2022 it reached the figure of 400 establishments, a year later it reached 500 branches. Currently, it also has stores in Colombia and Guatemala. It should be noted that the owner, Salvadoran Marco Andrés Baldocchi Kriete, is the nephew of the majority shareholder of the airline Avianca, Roberto José Krierte.
