The Ecuadorian food chain will market its yogurts and cassava breads at its own location in the United States.
The Ecuadorian food chain Naturíssimo will open its 77th location, but this time in Miami, United States.
According to a statement from the firm, the Ecuadorian brand, leader in yogurt and cassava bread sales, “becomes the first Ecuadorian food chain to open operations in this country.”
“We have crossed our borders to arrive with the yogurt and the Ecuadorian cassava bread, a very typical and traditional combination that we are sure will be a new experience in flavors for North Americans, the Latino community and our compatriots living in Miami ”, said Jaime Dalmau, general manager of Degeremcia.
The opening of the new location in Miami represents an investment of $ 1.5 million for the company, highlights the statement.
In the United States, the brand’s catalog will include 100% natural products that are already marketed in the country, such as corn, green and yucca tortillas; the gorditas of corn; baked patties; manyines and minicorns dogs. In addition, it includes in its portfolio the Yucaninis, who are waffles cassava with different fillings.
On the side of fruit drinks, they bring to the North American country their versions of joogy, frusty and its offer of fat-free, lactose-free and almond drink yogurts.
Keyla Rivadeneira de Dalmau, founder and president of Degeremcia, points out that, since the beginning of Naturíssimo, “we have always been driven by the passion for the national culinary art, which began with a small premises in a garage, to become today a chain of 76 local in Ecuador, and 77 with Miami. This is how our great dream of taking our brand to the world is crystallized ”.
With 44 years of experience, Naturíssimo is the largest chain of traditional Ecuadorian products in the country, its yogurt and yucca bread being a true tradition for Ecuadorian families.
The internationalization of the brand
The company has been selling a line of frozen products for eight years in different supermarkets in the United States.
The firm points out that, since its production center is certified by the FDA and all Ecuadorian public regulatory entities, Naturíssimo will be able to export all its products to the North American country.
“It is a new way of exporting reaching directly to the consumer in this country, also taking advantage of Ecuador’s natural resources and thus giving them added value, and at the same time fostering the Ecuadorian workforce,” said Jaime Dalmau.
The opening of its first location in Miami marks the beginning of the internationalization of the company, which has several projects under development. The goal, say the brand’s spokesmen, is to bring the Ecuadorian traditions to the world’s table. (I)
