The dollar closed slightly higher on Monday, December 11, and stood at S/3.7750, which meant a slight advance of 0.51% compared to Thursday’s close when it was quoted at S/3.7560, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP). So far this year the currency accumulates a variation of -0.84%.

The three major stock indexes had mixed results, with the Dow Jones up slightly, the Nasdaq down nominally and the S&P 500 unchanged.
