Exchange rate: dollar starts rising above S/3.7663 this December 11

The international currency wakes up with a slight increase after the long holiday in our country. Internationally, copper is falling due to fears about Chinese demand.

The dollar exchange rate began rising this Monday, December 11, and was around S/3.7663, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency exchange portal.

The day before, the greenback had started its career at S/3.7475 and then progressed to S/3.7560 at the official close set by the Central Reserve Bank (BCRP).

At the local level, the Peruvian Government set the expansion of the Impulso Myperú state-guaranteed credit program to S/15,000 million for its fund.

Internationally, the price of copper experienced a decline of 0.9% this Monday on the London Metal Exchange (BML), after closing at US$3,753 per pound due to fears about Chinese demand.
