So far this year, more than 40,000 people requested data through the “Real Estate Showcase” information center to access the bonuses and real estate loans for the Own roof and the Mivivienda Creditpromoted by the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS).
To detail, 55.3% (22,458) of the total visits to the portal were from women. Likewise, 18,977 were young people up to 40 years old, while 3,281 citizens were between 40 and 60 years old.
In the case of men, 18,363 (45.2%) sought information about the benefits offered by the State to access social housing.
The MVCS through the MIvivienda Fund (FMV), provides the Family Housing Bonus (BFH) of the Techo Propio program, which provides a subsidy of S/43,312.50 to buy a home, and S/ 29,700, to build on one’s own land or independent areas.
For his part, the Crédito Mivivienda offers the Good Payer Bonus (BBP), with subsidies ranging from S/ 7,300 to S/ 25,700, according to the value of the home.
It should be noted that of the total BFH of Own Roof granted in 2023, 52% were for family groups headed by a woman.
