Agrarian bonus: Government authorizes S / 350 bonus for agrarian producers

The Government through Emergency Decree No. 108-2021 authorized the delivery of monetary support of S / 350 soles for agricultural workers in order to reduce the negative impact on their economy, in the current economic context and as a result of the measures adopted in the declaration of a State of National Emergency for COVID-19.

About the beneficiaries of the agrarian bonus

The norm published in the Official Gazette El Peruano establishes that the monetary support is intended for agricultural producers who meet the following conditions:

• They conduct agricultural units with less than two (02) hectares for agricultural production.
• They belong to households whose members are not registered in the Computer Application for the Centralized Payroll and Data Registry of Public Sector Human Resources (AIRHSP) or, when one of their members is an authority within the scope of Law No. 31227 , Law that transfers to the Comptroller General of the Republic the competence to receive and exercise the Control, Inspection and Sanction regarding the Affidavit of Interests of Authorities, Servants and Candidates for public office and its Regulations.
• They belong to households whose members have not been beneficiaries of the individual monetary subsidy authorized by Emergency Decree No. 080-2021.

In the case of agricultural producers who make up the same household and who comply with the conditions, the individual monetary subsidy will be granted to the member who is on the list approved by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation – MIDAGRI.

Finally, the Emergency Decree indicates that the payment of the S / 350 bond is made through the Banco de la Nación, as well as all other companies in the financial system and electronic money companies in the country, through their channels of attention, being able to even use cards, in all cases without charging commissions or expenses for the beneficiaries.
