After Avícola San Isidro exported its first shipment of chicken meat to the Bahamas last May, Ecuador will end 2023 with a total of 1.5 million pounds sent to that market, representing about 680 tons.
This was highlighted by the company this Thursday, December 7, during an event attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Danilo Palacios; executive director of the Agency for Phyto and Zoosanitary Regulation and Control (Agrocalidad), Patricio Almeida; the executive director of the National Corporation of Poultry Breeders of Ecuador (Conave), Dina Espín and executives of the poultry company, who also toured the company’s new facilities in the canton of Isidro Ayora in the province of Guayas.

After the event, Minister Palacios posted on his X account (formerly Twitter): President Daniel Noboa’s vision is for Ecuador to be a more productive country, for which we need effective institutions that support the development of Ecuador. Articulated work between private companies and the public sector is key to achieving this goal,” said the head of MAG.
