Bonus 2023: who gets this extra money?
The bonus is a benefit that public sector workers receive in July and December. According to Supreme Decree No. 274-2023-EF, the amount to be delivered one time in this month’s payroll will be S/300 and is granted to the following employees:
- Officials and both employees appointed and contracted under the labor regime of Legislative Decree No. 276, Law No. 29944 and Law No. 30512

- In the case of workers hired under the CAS labor regime, they will receive a payment of S/300 per bonus.
- For the national teaching profession, the bonus will be calculated in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 29944. Teachers with full working hours are granted an amount no less than that indicated in literal a) of section 7.1 of article 7 of the Public Sector Budget Law for 2023
- Human Medicine and Dentistry interns will receive a bonus payment of S/100, within the framework of what is established in the Second Final Complementary Provision of Emergency Decree No. 016-2020.
How are bonuses and bonuses different?
