This Thursday, November 30, the Plenary Session of Congress approved the Public Sector Budget Law 2024 for an amount of S/240,806 million, which seek to prioritize the functions of Education, Health and Transportation and Public Order and Security. The Debt and Financial Balance bills were also approved.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF)public budget resources will increase next year, mainly due to improved tax collection as the economy is expected to begin to recover.
In addition, support measures are contemplated through transfers, implementation of complementary food services and attention to the occurrence of natural disasters that alleviate the situation of those most affected, taking into account that in 2023 Peruvian families have been affected by the rising food and fuel prices.
