Through the Emergency Decree No. 039-2023the Executive approved the expansion of state guarantees of the Mype-Myperú Business Impulse program within the framework of the new Unidos reactivation plan of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).
Thus, the increase in financing from S/10,000 million to S/15,000 million has been authorized. Furthermore, it is estimated that 87,374 additional companies will benefit, bringing the total reach to 334,114.
The document also indicates that the expansion includes the establishment of two new guarantee limits according to the amount of the credit granted. The first covers from S/1 million to S/5 million, supporting 60% of the portfolio per debtor. On the other hand, the second range ranges from S/5 million to S/10 million, offering support for 50% of the debtor’s portfolio.
In that sense, Grace and payment periods have been extended for up to 12 additional months for the sectors most affected by the different shocks, such as tourism, agriculture, construction and fishing. Likewise, the validity and period of enrollment in the program were extended until June 30, 2024.
It should be noted that these affected sectors may have up to 24 months of grace.

According to the MEF, until November 24, 2023, the I programMYPE Business Impulse – MYPERU Impulsegranted a state guarantee for loans to around 82,775 micro, small and medium-sized companies, which accessed a total financing of S/1,875 million.
