How to participate in the auction of cheap products seized by Sunat?

To begin the process, first access the Sunat portal, ‘Customs Auction’. Within the platform, you must create your account and, to do so, you must provide your personal data or that of the company. This information will serve as a key identifier when you participate in an auction. The validation of the registration will be carried out by verifying the DNI or RUC, which ensures the authenticity of the procedure.

In order to differentiate yourself from other bidders, you need to generate a username or nickname, set a password and link an email address. Afterwards, a confirmation link will be sent to this to validate the information provided.

As a next step, you have to see the variety of lots available so that you can then choose those that spark your interest. Subsequently, when you decide on one, proceed to make an offer that is equal to or higher than the price established by Sunat. It is important to keep in mind that, depending on the date, new goods are added to the auction, so users will have to frequently check the page to identify the new products.

Next, you will receive an email from Sunat, which will include an 18-digit number called CDA (Customs Document Code) with all the data of the offer you selected. This message will also detail the payment you must make. Likewise, it should be taken into account that, if you do not make said payment, your offer will not be taken into account at the conclusion of the auction. As a final step, you will be notified via email if you have won the auction.
