Borrowing of retirees and pensioners of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (Iess) increased by 50%, as well as the term of crediting in unsecured loans, the Bank of the Social Security Institute (Biess) reported in a press release.
The increase has been in effect since November 24 last year, Biess pointed out, in accordance with the reforms included in the new Credit Manual for the allocation of this credit product.
