However, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) postponed the distribution of this extraordinary subsidy and modified the list of beneficiaries, in accordance with ministerial resolution 350-2023. Who will receive the S/800 bonus?

As stipulated in Emergency Decree No. 029-2023, this unique and extraordinary bonus of S/800 is aimed at tourism graduates who work in the field of tourist guiding, hiking, mountaineering and artisans in all areas. the country, who carry out their activities independently.

In total, there are more than 26,000 workers in the tourism sector who were affected due to the stoppage of their work and, in accordance with the modification of the registry of beneficiaries, more than 18,000 artisans who meet the conditions to receive said bonus have been identified. .

S/800 bonus: what are the requirements to access?

To access this bonus of S/800, tourist guides and artisans must meet these requirements stated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism:

  • Tourism and mountain guides, as well as licensees who carry out this activity, must have current and valid registrations as of December 31, 2022 with the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism or the one that takes its place in the Regional Government.
  • Walking guides must also be registered with the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism or the one that takes its place in the Regional Government as of December 31, 2022.
  • Tourist, mountain, hiking guides and licensees who carry out this activity must be in active status in the Single Taxpayer Registry (RUC) and have the status of tax domicile as of December 31, 2022.
  • In the case of artisans, they must be registered in the National Register of Artisans of Mincetur as of December 31, 2022.
  • Not be beneficiaries of other economic subsidies or other social programs nor be registered as dependent workers in the Monthly Payment Form (Plame).
  • Be included in the Register of Beneficiaries referred to in article 8 of DU No. 029-2023.
