The oil company Anadarko will officially begin its seismic work on the marine lots Z-61, Z-62 and Z-63, located off the coast of La Libertad, between the months of March and April 2024, with the aim of putting them into production by 2027 .

Bandach explained that the company has two windows to start this new stage: between March and April, or between August and September, which are those planned by Imarpe so as not to interfere with fishing work.

“Peru has already fulfilled [con los permisos] and is in the company’s field”Bandach said.

Only at a later stage will it be possible to talk about a potential production of barrels per day, although Minem expects around 200,000.
