“We are expanding for all sectors, there is no differentiation. The size of the credits is increasing up to S/10 million,” Contreras commented on Radio Nacional.
The minister highlighted that around 40% of the resources will be used to refinance existing debts, while 60% will be directed towards the acquisition of fixed capital, such as machinery, equipment, and working capital to finance merchandise and campaigns.
Contreras Miranda stressed that, to date, the distribution of funds has approximately followed this pattern: 20% in Lima, 15% in Puno, 10% in Piura, and the rest has been distributed equitably in all regions of the country.
