According to the information reported by Perú Retail, Dollacity seeks to close the year with 47 stores in our country and to do so it is implementing a plan to reach the number of 20 in the last quarter of the year. So, the chain of Salvadoran origin has been opening up to two locations per week and in recent days it has opened three more:
- Los Olivos: this new store is located on Santa Elvira Avenue, a high-traffic street to boost its retail offering in points where it is scarce.
- Chorrillos: Dollarcity’s third store in this district is located on El Sol Avenue. It is worth mentioning that its other two stores are on Plaza Lima Sur and Av. Southern Civil Guard.
- Arequipa: this is the fourth store in the region, which is located near the Bolognesi bridge.

Dollarcity has stores located in central areas of various districts of Lima such as San Juan de Lurigancho, Independencia, Comas, Miraflores, Breña, Surco, Santa Anita, Chorrillos, among others. In the case of provinces, the upcoming opening of a store in Arequipa stands out, located in the Paseo Central shopping center.
Likewise, according to Perú Retail, other options are being evaluated in Cañete, Cajamarca, Huacho and it is planned to open a new store in the Qhay Plaza mall in Santa Clara, located in Ate.
