Fonavi 2023: how to register in Conadis for the return of contributions?

After the promulgation of Law 31927, which authorizes the partial refund of contributions to the thousands of workers who contributed to the National Housing Fund (Fonavi), the prioritization of beneficiaries was established to collect this money on December 14. In that sense, people with disabilities registered with the National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (Conadis) will be able to receive the financial reimbursement they have been waiting for for a long time.

Below, learn all the steps to register with said entity, which registers 433,900 people with disabilities registered until October 31 of this year. Write down the details!

Fonavi 2023: how to register with Conadis to receive priority attention?

According to the standard published by the Executive Branch, people with disabilities are one of the population groups in vulnerable situations that must receive with priority the return of the contributions they made to the National Housing Fund (Fonavi). In that sense, the Peruvian state portal lists a series of steps to access the recovery of this money, through two modalities:

Virtual

• Enter the Virtual Platform of the National Registry of Persons with Disabilities called “My Registry throughout Peru”.
• Next, select the “Registry Registration” option in the following LINK.
• Then, complete the form by attaching your Disability Certificate and scanned National Identity Document (DNI) in JPG, JPEG or PNG format.
• Remember that if the procedure is on behalf of a person with a disability, a simple scanned power of attorney must be presented in the same formats.
• Don’t forget to add your cell phone number or email to send the digital card or coordinate physical delivery.

In person

• Go to the Conadis headquarters, located on Av. Arequipa 375 – Cercado de Lima. Bring your Disability Certificate and ID.
• If you are in the provinces, go to the Conadis Regional Office, the Regional Office for Attention to People with Disabilities (Oredis) or the Municipal Office for Attention to People with Disabilities (Omaped) in your district, carrying the same documents.

The new rule, published in the El Peruano newspaper on November 11, establishes a series of measures and criteria for the return of these contributions, and gives priority to:

• People over 60 years.
• People with a serious or terminal illness.

The National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (Conadis) is an entity attached to the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations, which seeks to guarantee and protect the human rights of people with disabilities to achieve their full and effective inclusion in society. .
