The Regional Government of Arequipa approved the transfer of S/29 million 700,000 as a fee in favor of the Mivivienda Fund (FMV) so that the Family Housing Bonds (BFH) can be granted to the lowest-income households in the city. In this way, it becomes the first region that will use its canon resources to finance Techo Propio housing subsidies.
Through an important fact sent by the Mivivienda Fund to the Superintendence of the Securities Market (SMV), it is specified that these resources will allow the delivery of 1,000 BFH in the form of construction on own site for lower-income families in Arequipa.
“Thanks to the granting of the Canon Bonusthe FMV will continue to promote the granting of housing subsidies to cover the population’s housing needs and contribute to the reduction of the housing deficit“, details the document.
Likewise, the FMV indicated that they have been managing with the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) the signing of agreements with various regional governments that have shown interest in accessing the mechanism of the Canon Bonus to promote social housing in their localities.
