AFP 2023: how do I know how much money I have in my pension fund?

The AFPs are private institutions that manage pension funds under the modality of personal accounts. In addition, these entities grant retirement, disability, and survival pensions, provide funeral expenses, among other benefits for their contributors and dependents.

If you already know which Pension Fund Administrator (AFP) you are currently in, you should know that these institutions have a complete record of your contributions. So, to have access to the information related to your balance and the profitability generated by the Private Pension System, you can access your account statement through your AFP website or application. (Integra, Prima, Habitat or Profuturo). Just follow these steps:

• AFP Habitat: If you are a member of this AFP, go to THIS LINK and register your data.
• AFP Integra: To review the account status in this AFP, you can enter THIS LINK.
• AFP Premium: If you are a member of this AFP, go to THIS LINK. In the part that says ‘my account’, write your ID number and password.
• Profuturo AFP: Go to the next page at THIS LINK to see your account statement.

How do I find out which AFP I belong to?

According to the Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS), you can check which AFP you are affiliated with in the following way. Remember that in our country there are four types of pension fund administrators:

• Go to the SBS website and click on the ‘online services’ option. You can also enter THIS LINK.
• Then, choose the part where it says ‘AFP affiliation report’ so that you know whether or not you are affiliated with any of the administrators.
• A new window will open and you must log in to the SBS page. If you do not have an active account, you must register. To do this, read the conditions of use, write your ID and create a password.
• Finally, when you are registered, the SBS portal will show you a box with your data and information related to your membership, such as the date, your code, work modality and the type of AFP.

How many AFP withdrawals have been approved so far?

To date, six disbursements of AFP funds have been made after the approval of the bills in Congress between 2020 and 2022.

1. Withdrawal of AFP funds of up to S/2,000 in 2020.
2. Release of 25% of AFP funds, up to a maximum amount of 3 UIT in 2020.
3. On April 13, 2020, a new disbursement of S/2,000 was authorized for workers laid off due to the perfect suspension.
4. On November 18, 2020, affiliates were authorized to withdraw up to 4 UIT from their funds.
5. In May 2021, an AFP release of up to S/17,600 was authorized again
6. In 2022, the amount approved to withdraw AFP funds was up to S/18,400.
