This morning, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Alex Contrerasstressed that political instability constitutes an obstacle to carrying out the essential reforms that the country requires to maintain its growth.

“Political instability has generated a very great cost to the country, six years in which we have had in practice a series of transitional governments that have not managed to implement important reforms,” ​​he mentioned in the CADE Executives 2023 that is held in the Cusco.

However, he stressed that the current administration is willing to carry out some important reforms to achieve the development of the country. “We have sent a proposal to reform the Pension System, and We are about to send a proposal to reform the tax regimes for smaller companies“, advertisement.

Furthermore, he emphasized that the country’s growth is not possible if it does not work together with the private sector. “We want to continue moving forward, helping to build a country, but it is not possible to move forward if there is no commitment from the private sector,” she mentioned.
