The president of the Economy, Banking and Finance and Financial Intelligence Commission, César Revilla, announced this Wednesday, November 15, that the working group he leads would have ready the opinion regarding the withdrawal of pension funds from the AFPs in a maximum of two weeks. .
According to Revilla, the president of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP), Julio Velarde, will attend the session of the Economy Commission to express their opinion on the legislative projects related to the release of up to S/19,800 (4 UIT) of the funds accumulated in the AFPs. Therefore, after its presentation, all the inputs would be available so that the final opinion could be prepared.
“The next session supports the BCRP and then we will have all the opinions of the groups and sectors so that a ruling can be made. The 22nd (of November) is coming and by the week of the 29th we would have a ruling,” said the congressman after being consulted by the legislators who asked for priority to the projects on the withdrawal of the AFP.
