Likewise, if the flight is canceled and the passenger must spend the night, the airline will refund the net value of the ticket or arrange a substitute trip for the same day. If this does not occur, the airline will cover your food, lodging and transfer expenses. If there were delays before the cancellation, you have the right to receive the compensation mentioned above.
