They approve the list of beneficiaries of the S/800 bonus for tourist guides

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) approved the list of the S/800 bonus that the Government will deliver to tourist guides, tourism graduates who carry out the guiding activity, mountain guides, hiking guides and artisans at the level national that are dedicated to these activities independently.

Ministerial Resolution No. 343-2023-Mincetur, published today in El Peruano, indicates that the General Directorate of Tourism Development Policies, through the Directorate of Tourism Regulations and Quality and the General Directorate of Crafts, through the Directorate of Artisanal Development, carry out the follow-up and monitoring of the execution of the payment of the single and extraordinary economic subsidy, periodically verifying the progress status of the collection.

The Executive Branch in June of this year, through Emergency Decree No. 029-2023, issued a series of extraordinary measures in economic and financial matters in order to boost the family economy of people in vulnerable situations and the reactivation of the tourism sector. Thus, it authorized a transfer of items in the public sector budget for up to the sum of S/32 million 092,068.

What are the requirements to receive the S/800 bonus?

• Tourist guides, tourism graduates who carry out the tourist guiding activity and mountain guides must have a valid registration as of December 31, 2022 with the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism or the one that replaces the regional government. . The registry is published in the National Directory of Qualified Tourism Service Providers of MINCETUR.
• Walking guides must be registered with the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism or the one you replace in the regional government as of December 31, 2022.
• Artisans must be registered in the National Registry of Artisans of MINCETUR as of December 31, 2022
• In the event that any tourist guide who carries out tourist guiding, mountain guide and hiking guide activities is registered in the National Registry of Artisans as of December 31, 2022, only their registration in the National Directory of Providers will be considered. of Qualified Tourist Services of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism or before the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism, or the one that takes its place from the Regional Government, as appropriate, as of December 31, 2022.
• Tour guides, tourism graduates who carry out the tourist guiding activity, mountain guides and hiking guides must be in active status in the Single Taxpayer Registry (RUC) and have the status of tax domicile as of 31 December 2022.
• You must not be a beneficiary of other social programs and/or financial subsidies.
• Not be registered as a dependent worker in the Monthly Payment Form (PLAME).
• They must be included in the Register of Beneficiaries.
