Loreto: gas bottle price ranges between 73 and 100 soles

In the Loreto region, a new gas bottle price, which ranges between 73 and 73.50 cents in the main distributors of the city of Iquitos. According to users, since December 1, the 10-kilo gas cylinder has registered this new value in home delivery.

Ruth Vásquez, a vendor at the Chávez Sivina market, pointed out that the price increased too much, despite the decline announcement in November. He added that the products in the markets also increased in value and this worries buyers.

“It is very expensive, it was going to go down for the fortnight of November, but nothing, it does not go down, it is still expensive and now we are worried … We as sellers are the ones who go directly to the consumersWe see that people, consumers, suffer because they come with a budget, but when it comes to buying things they are more expensive, ”he said.

Meanwhile, in other provinces, the price of gas ball exceeded 100 soles, as is the case in the city of Caballococha, in the Loreto province of Mariscal Ramón Castilla, close to the borders with Brazil and Colombia.

In this regard, the congressman for Loreto, Jorge Morante, from the Fuerza Popular bench, indicated, through his social networks, that he held a meeting with Petroperú officials, who pledged to review and reduce the prices of fuels sold in Iquitos.
