The head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Alex Contreras, reported that the first measure of the New Economic Reactivation Plan, presented this Thursday, November 9, will be to increase funds for the Impulso Mi Perú Program credit program at S/15,000 million. Likewise, it is established that a special extension, grace periods or repayments be considered for those sectors most affected by the El Niño Phenomenon.
“We are tripling the size of the My Peru Impulse Plan from S/5,000 to S/15,000 million. In addition, we are also expanding the range of beneficiaries, credits of 5 or even S/10 million will be given. The idea is to bring financing to hit sectors, agro-exporters, farmers, companies in the fishing sector,” said Contreras during the presentation of the United Plan.
As a third point, the improvement of auctions is also sought to financially include new beneficiaries. Likewise, it was reported that the amount allocated for MSMEs amounts to S/4,144 million, at an average rate of 12.9%.
