Did you know that Customs auctions off confiscated products? So you can buy everything from clothes to cheap laptops

The National Customs Superintendence announced that it will put on sale goods and products ranging from accessories, clothing, electronic equipment to electrical and mechanical machinery. The entity holds this event so that people can easily acquire merchandise that was abandoned or confiscated.

These products, which will be offered for sale at a low price, are found without any legal impediment and depending on their state or condition, they are grouped into lots. Next, we show you how to be part of the auctions.

How to participate in the auction of Customs objects?

According to El Peruano, to participate, all you have to do is enter the Customs Auction portal of the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) and create an account. For this you must register your personal data or company data (DNI or RUC), which will have the identification function in the auction portal.

Ready, you can now review the lots that are of interest to you, request them and verify their characteristics at the exhibition location. This will help give people looking to make an offer the opportunity to make prior inquiries.

What is the process to acquire an item auctioned by Sunat?

Once the user makes an offer on the product of interest, Sunat will send an email with the offer data and an 18-digit number, called CDA (customs document code), in which the amount that will be indicated will be indicated. You must pay as an initial deposit.

However, if the aforementioned payment is not made, the offer will not be considered valid at the close of the auction.
