The President-elect of the Republic, Daniel Noboa Azín, held a meeting with Spanish investors where he explained the details of his work plan, aimed at creating jobs, providing opportunities for young people and fighting insecurity.

The meeting was held in Madrid-Spain at a working breakfast with the board of directors and members of the Business Council of the Alianza por Iberoamérica (CEAPI), an entity made up of 250 presidents of the largest Ibero-American companies.

The meeting was attended by representatives of telecommunications, insurance, technology, construction, technology companies, among others.

In his speech, Noboa emphasized that the goals of his mandate are to create quality employment for the population, provide an opportunity for young people to keep them away from drugs and gangs, and ensure the safety of the population affected by the wave of violence.

He described that his project is based on the needs that exist today in Ecuador, where part of the problem is insecurity; Therefore, reducing violence and unemployment and creating new jobs are on the agenda, he said.

On the topic of giving opportunities to young people, Noboa emphasized the importance of education in training people.

The new president also informed businessmen of his decision to convene a national consultation aimed at providing greater security to the population, increasing the country’s attractiveness for foreign investment and promoting job creation.

The Alliance for Ibero-America Business Council aims to promote economic and social development through the exchange of experiences, encouraging investment and integration. Many of the companies that make up CEAPI are located in Ecuador.

CEAPI president Nuria Vilanova pointed out that the new Ecuadorian president conveyed hope, knowledge and empathy.
