Indecopi will auction off 26 seized properties in Lima and Trujillo: when will it be and how to participate?

National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) announced that it will carry out its fourteenth real estate auction. Along the same lines, the entity reported that the properties to be auctioned were seized from individuals and companies that failed to pay fines for not respecting the intellectual property and the violation of consumer rights. Indecopi property auction in Lima and Trujillo: when will it be?

The Coercive Enforcement Unit (UEC) of Indecopi will auction apartments, parking lots, houses and other spaces. The event is scheduled for this Tuesday, October 31, it will begin at 8:50 am and will take place in the main auditorium of Indecopi, located on Avenida del Aire No. 384, in the San Borja district.

How to participate in the Indecopi real estate auction in Lima and Trujillo?

• To enter the auction, you need to carry your current ID or immigration card, if applicable.
• Interested parties should review the information contained in the details of the properties: characteristics and percentage subject to auction.
• Only those who, before starting the auction, can prove payment of an amount of no less than 10% of the appraisal value (obblage) will be admitted as a bidder. Accreditation will begin 20 minutes before the start time of each auction.
• Payment of the award value will be made in cash and/or cashier’s check payable to Indecopi.
• For those who participate in the auction on behalf of a natural or legal person, they must present a valid power of attorney registered in public registries.
