More than 30 motorcycle brands will meet from November 10 to 12 at the Guayaquil Moto Expo 2023, which will be held at the Guayaquil Convention Center, where they will present new models, commercial stands and other attractions.

This exhibition aims to create a space of opportunity specifically for sales and promotion for this high-growth sector, as well as promoting cycling culture and its lifestyle.

The growth of the motorcycle market in Ecuador is fueled by the arrival of new models and campaigns aimed at road tourism

According to figures from the Association of Automobile Companies of Ecuador (Aede), during 2021 and 2022, motorcycle sales recorded a positive speed. During 2020, 130,483 units were sold on the national market; a year later the number increased to 164,898 motorcycles; while in 2022, sales of this segment reached 184,875 units.

On the other hand, from January to September 2023, 147,356 motorcycles were sold, 4.7% more than in the same period in 2022. Last September alone, 17,272 motorcycles were sold, which represents a year-on-year growth of 10%.

“At Expo Moto Guayaquil, we will work on the presentation of the motorcycle as a solution for mobility and transportation in large cities, a vehicle that also contributes to reducing carbon dioxide and preserving the environment. We will also have an offer of motorcycles for other modalities, such as sports and entertainment,” said Nicolás Jurado, manager of Expo Moto Guayaquil.

He added that participants will also be able to learn about all styles of motorcycles along with financing options that will provide access to credit facilities.

7 out of every 10 motorcycles sold in Ecuador are Chinese and 29% of buyers are in Guayas. What are the best selling brands?

The fair will be open on Friday, November 10 from 4 to 9 p.m.; and on Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tickets will be $2 for adults and $1 for children and seniors.
