The Government, through its proposal pension system reformseeks to expand the scope of the National Solidarity Assistance Program Pensión 65, which grants a bimonthly subsidy of S/300 to adults over 65 years of age with limited resources who are not enrolled in any contributory pension system.

According to calculations by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), in the first year, around 61,000 members of the ONP and AFP would join the Pensión 65 program, which would imply a fiscal cost of S/109 million for extending coverage. of the non-contributory pension.
