The British-Ecuadorian Chamber (Britcham ITA) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) signed an agreement to promote cooperation between Ecuadorian and British companies in energy matters. The signing took place within the framework of the III Forum on Innovation and Energy Transition.

Alejandro Echeverri, president of Britcham ITA, pointed out that the alliance with the multilateral organization will allow the Chamber to contribute to the development of proposals and projects to strengthen the energy sector, one of the most strategic in Ecuador.

For his part, Diego Gordón, manager of Britcham ITA, pointed out that the entity promoted initiatives in favor of energy transition, sustainability, climate change and gender equality, among others.
