SBS: eight of the nine intervened cooperatives could reverse the situation

The superintendent of the SBS, Socorro Heysen, informed the Production, Mype and Cooperatives Commission that eight of the nine cooperatives intervened have the possibility for the partners to reach an agreement through a prior assembly that enables cooperativists to resolve their situation and make a capital contribution that allows them to get out of the intervention on their own.

“In this case they are 8 of the 9 cooperatives intervened (including the Trujillo and San Lorenzo cooperatives). The eight cases of the small cooperatives have a different path that is the assembly, that the partners agree to solve the problem and the intervention is reversed ”, he said.

For his part, Superintendent Oscar Basso, reported that, regarding, small cooperatives should have an assembly called by the SBS so that partners can decide if they can overcome the cause for which the intervention has occurred.

If they overcome the cause, they can operate again. That is what happens with eight of the nine cooperatives whose intervention took place last week. In these cases, the assemblies have been held since Monday (…) where the savings members are informed about the causes of the intervention and they are mentioned that they have 30 days to overcome the cause ”, indicated the superintendent .
