In addition, they have the right to 15 days of paid vacation and in the case of microbusiness workers, insurance is provided through Comprehensive Health Insurance (SIS) or EsSalud, while for small business workers it is through EsSalud.
“Likewise, these workers can join the National Pension System (ONP) or the private system (AFP), depending on their choice,” Sunafil highlighted in a press release.
In addition to these rights, small business workers have social benefits such as the payment of Compensation for Time of Service (CTS), equivalent to half salary, bonuses in July and December in the amount of half remuneration, utilities and Insurance. To be considered mype, Sunafil specified, companies must verify if their annual sales do not exceed 150 UIT (S/742,500) in the case of microenterprises; while, for small ones, income must be less than or equal to 1,700 UIT (S/8 million 415,000).
