Fonavi: Executive has until November 13 to approve payments on account

The bill to approve payments on account to former contributors to the National Housing Fund (Fonavi) was sent to the Executive Branch, which will now have until November 13 to promulgate it and make it viable to start refunding money to 1.2 million people.

This document had already been observed by the Government of Dina Boluarte in August, therefore Congress made some adjustments to the text and it is now expected to be published as soon as possible, taking into account the economic context in which many older adults are affected. .

However, the Executive Branch could review the proposal again as it is a new text and it would return to Congress.

On the other hand, in the final complementary provisions, it is stated that the resumption of the process of refunding contributions must occur in the shortest possible time, for which the ad hoc Commission will adopt the necessary agreements.
