dAccording to the information provided by the National Superintendence of Labor Supervision (Sunafil), micro, small, medium and large companies have until November 15 of this year to deposit the CTSwhose semester period is as follows:

  • From November 1 to April 30: May deposit.
  • From May 1 to October 31: November deposit.

CTS, November 2023: How do I calculate the amount that corresponds to me?

According to the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL), the amount of the CTS varies according to the type of company and the time worked in the semiannual period. To calculate this extra money, the computable remuneration must be considered. That is, the basic salary, the family allowance (if applicable), all overtime hours for the last semester divided by 6 and the last bonus deposited.

To have a more precise idea, let’s give an example. If your net salary is S/1,500 and you have worked in a medium or large company for the entire semester, the calculation would be as follows:

  • Liquid remuneration to be considered: S/1,500
  • 1/6 bonus: S/250
  • CTS: 50% of the salary for October 2023 (S/750) + 1/6 of the bonus for July 2023
  • The total CTS to be deposited will be S/1,000

In the event that the worker has not worked the entire semester, his CTS will be constituted by 1/6 of his remuneration, for each month worked, plus one-sixth of the bonus of what he would have received in said period.
