The Mivivienda Fund’s Own Tech program aims to help Peruvian families achieve the dream of owning their own home. To this end, the State grants the Family Housing Bonus (BFH), an amount that does not have to be returned, to build or improve a home, which will have the basic services of water, electricity and drainage. In the following note we detail which properties are the cheapest, and in which province and departments they are located.

What are the requirements to access Techo Propio?

We detail the documents and requirements you need to apply to this program:

  • To buy or build a home, a family group must be formed in which the head will declare one or more dependent people, who may be a wife, partner, children, siblings or grandchildren under 25 years of age or older children with disabilities.
  • In the case of purchasing a home, the Monthly Family Income (MIF) should not be greater than S/3,715.
  • To build a home, the IFM must not exceed the S/2,706.
  • To improve a home, the IFM should not exceed the S/2,706.
  • Not own any other home or land nationwide.
  • Not having accessed other housing support from the State.

What is the amount of the Family Housing Bonus (BFH)?

The amount granted by the State varies according to the modality for which you apply.

  • To buy a home, the bonus is S/43,312.50
  • To build a home, the bonus is S/29,700
  • To improve a home, the bonus is S/11,385

What are the cheapest homes in Techo Propio?

Among the most economical homes is the Vive Hogar Castilla project, with an average price of S/20,000 in Castilla, Piura; the residential Jackeline, with a cost of S/40,300 at Ascope, La Libertad; the Villa Colorada Talara project with a value of S/42,000 in Talara, Piura; Finally, there is San Pedro LM 12 with a price of S/ 43,000 in Pacasmayo, La Libertad.
