Sunat announces auction of apartments, parking lots and warehouses: how to participate and where are they located?

The National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) reported that this Wednesday, October 25, it will carry out a new auction of properties seized from people and companies that failed to regularize their debts. On this occasion, apartments, parking lots, lots and warehouses will be auctioned in various districts of Lima, Callao and even Cañete. According to the website of the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), The new auction of seized assets will take place this Wednesday, October 25, at its institutional premises located on Av. Arenales 335-357, in Cercado de Lima (next to the Military Police Court).

Sunat will auction 34 properties valued at S/38 million 376,676.15. Among the assets to be auctioned are two apartments in Callao and Santa Rosa, valued at S/76,108.89; seven parking spaces in the districts of Surco, Santa Rosa and San Isidro, priced between S/6,026.55 and S/69,100.82; as well as six lots in Lurín, Los Olivos, Cañete and Asia.

Likewise, there are 3 deposits in Surco, valued between S/23,586.21 and S/83,079.93; 13 closets with a base price of up to more than S/35,000; and 4 properties in Callao, San Miguel and Pachacamac. Then find out all the details in the following table:

Sunat property auction: what are the requirements?

• Carry your ID and a copy
• Present the original of the validity of the power of attorney no older than 30 calendar days from the date of the auction in case they represent another person, whether natural or legal.
• For registration, assignment of bidder number and location is required.
• The bidder who is located in a place other than the assigned one, who causes disorder or does not comply with the provisions of the auctioneer or coercive executor, will be disqualified from making offers in all auctions scheduled for the date and the removal of the auditorium will be ordered.
• The successful bidder of the property must pay the balance of the price, in cash or certified or cashier’s check from Sunat/Banco de la Nación, in soles (S/), until the fourth business day after the auction.

Sunat property auction: how to participate?

The Sunat auction will be under the “sealed envelope” modality. That is, all bidders will present their proposals and, after the opening, whoever has offered the highest financial amount will win, as long as they meet all the requirements.

According to the tax collecting entity, these auctions represent an opportunity to acquire an apartment, premises or assets for your business at a value below market costs. To participate in this process, whose registration is free, interested parties must go with their ID to the Sunat headquarters, Cercado de Lima.
