As part of its plan to expand its coverage across the country, Terpel has opened the “El Puyo” service station in Pastaza, which is the first the company has in this province and which increases its coverage to 17 provinces in the country.

In total, there are 107 stations across the country and at this new point of sale, it expects to serve around 20,000 vehicles per month, which represents an approximate sale of between 250 and 300 kg of fuel per month.

With this, the gas station chain shows that it continues to strengthen its presence at the national level in order to enable efficient and agile mobilization of citizens.

Terpel is a company of Colombian origin dedicated to the distribution of fuels and lubricants, with a significant presence in Ecuador, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Peru. It started working in Ecuador in 2006.

Its greater coverage includes investments in new gas stations and also arrangements. For example, in 2023, it cost about $600,000 to promote a gas station in Guayaquil, which is the largest of the brand in the entire country: the one located on Avenida 25 de Julio, in the south of the city, which, in addition to modernizing its facilities, added new services such as the installation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) commercialization and the new Altoque store.

Also in July of this year, with an investment of 100,000 USD, the first Terpel Voltex fast charging station was opened in Quito, in alliance with Kia Ecuador, which also becomes the third company in the country (two operate in Guayaquil) and is part of the plan to expand the supply network for electric vehicles.
