Likewise, employers or coordinators have the responsibility of ensuring that there is a good work environment. and that the refreshment schedule is respected, a right that should not be denied.

What are considered acts of hostility at work?

According to the standard, employees have the right to have a 45-minute snack that is not part of the work day and schedule. This can only vary if there is a collective agreement that provides something different. If this is not the case, no employer can exclude the worker from the rest period.

Furthermore, lRaising your voice or verbally or physically attacking an employee is also considered an act of workplace hostility.

How to file a complaint for workplace hostility?

If a citizen is a victim of workplace hostility, they can present their claim through the Human Resources area of ​​their entity, which must resolve the case within six days.

If the attacks continue, a complaint can be filed with Sunafil. To do this, you must enter the Government website titled ‘Report labor breaches by a private company’ and complete the queries.

It is important to note that the worker must enter the company’s RUC number, which will serve to identify the employer when an Inspection Order is opened, as well as for subsequent investigation. Likewise, you can attach text messages, screenshots, among others, in which this type of violence is verified to the detriment of the worker or his or her family member.
