With an investment of $50,000 and a new concept that promotes sustainability, the French brand Chevignon, a franchise of Novogode, reopened its store at Quicentro Shopping in Quito on October 4. In 2024, he plans to open new stores.
Now he focuses on avoiding the waste of damaged garments and that is why he opened Denim & Repair, a space dedicated to the restoration and adjustment of garments. Thus, those interested will be able to give their clothes a second life and contribute to the care of the environment.
“This is a conscious action that promotes the repair of garments and responsible consumption, thinking about the impact on the environment,” said Chevignon’s head of marketing, Michelle Jácome.
Chevignon is betting on e-commerce in Ecuador, which is increasingly interested in fashion
Inspired by Formula 1, the brand presented the Chevignon Racing collection in the last half year.
According to the brand, which officially launched its website last March, its garments are characterized by not being a part fast fashiona policy that reduces the rapid production of garments and encourages consumers to keep their clothes longer and even give them a second life through repair.
Etafashion opened its seventh store in Guayaquil with an investment of more than one million dollars
In accordance with the environment, they created a line of jeans Blue Mind, in which they use fewer liters of water for their production process.
The expansion plans are part of the projects of Chevignon, which plans to open new stores by 2024, but also to increase sales in physical and digital channels.
Currently, in addition to Quicentro Shopping, they have stores in Mall El Jardín, Riocentro Ceibos, San Marino and in Mall del Sol, del Pacífico and del Río shopping centers.
