Regarding lines gained and lost by mobile operator, in September, the companies Entel and Claro obtained positive net shares (the difference between lines gained and lost). Entel led the positive balance with 10,293 net mobile lines ported, followed by Claro with 6,493 net mobile lines ported.
At the other extreme were the operators Bitel (-12,516), Movistar (-3,994), Flash (-228) and Guinea Mobile (-48), which had a negative balance of net ports.
How is fixed portability going?
Regarding fixed portability, in September, 5,652 fixed lines changed operators, which meant a growth of 375.76% compared to September 2022, when 1,188 lines were ported. However, a decline of -57.69% was evident compared to August of this year, when the portability of 13,358 fixed lines was reported.
The operating companies Optical Networks, Engineering in Business Management and Opportunities, Claro and Fravatel were the ones that achieved the highest positive net balance with 3,686, 571, 531 and 194 fixed lines, respectively. On the opposite side were Moche Inversiones and Telefónica, with net balances of -3,035 and -1,402 fixed lines, respectively.
