The Mi Casa en mi País fair will be held until Sunday in Madrid (Spain), and it is expected to be visited by about 10,000 Ecuadorian migrants.

This fair is emerging as an epicenter of opportunities for the Ecuadorian community abroad to generate acquisitions that will boost our country’s economy, the statement said.

According to a report by the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE), Ecuador received 15,015 shipments last year, with an average dollar amount per transfer of $316, the same figure as in 2021 and the best average since 2025 ($300).

In the fourth quarter of 2022, Ecuador received $1,285.65 million in remittances, an increase of 3.09% compared to the third quarter of the same year and 4.07% compared to the same period in 2023.

17 Ecuadorian shrimp companies seek new commercial links in Europe, at Conxemar 2023.

“With these statistics of remittances from Ecuador, the goal of this event is that there is a space in Spain for Ecuadorian migrants that promotes the purchase of goods and services originating in Ecuador, from housing, financial services, insurance, education, tourism, funerals, investment opportunities, business opportunities, state services, among others,” the letter reads.

In the fourteen editions of the Mi Casa en mi País fair, in Barcelona, Madrid, Murcia and New York, the participation of 745 exhibiting companies and 1.3 billion dollars in remittances directed to business was realized.

More than 50 Ecuadorian brands will be present at the fair, providing excellent opportunities for migrants to acquire goods and services.

The Mi Casa en mi País fair acts as a commercial platform that connects entrepreneurs with potential customers, namely migrants who visit it with great interest. Entrance is 1 euro, and boys and girls are free.
